Piano Tuning in Fort Worth: What's Included
A trained technician comes to your home, tunes your piano to concert pitch, and does not leave until it sounds right. One flat price. A money-back guarantee.
What a tuning includes
One flat price covers the full tuning service, so your piano leaves the appointment sounding and playing its best. If you want your piano to look its best too, add a clean and polish.
- Stretch tuning across all 88 keys, set to standard A440 pitch
- A service check of the action parts that make each key respond
- A plain-English report on anything else the piano needs
What stretch tuning means
A piano is not tuned to pure math. The low strings and high strings each pull slightly against the tuning, so a technician stretches the tuning at both ends of the keyboard until the notes blend. Done well, the piano sounds fuller and more alive, especially older and player pianos. This is careful work by ear and instrument. It is part art and part science.
Every type of piano
Grand, upright, player, and spinet. Clare's has restored and tuned player pianos for three generations, so an older or unusual instrument is familiar ground, not a problem.
The guarantee
The best tuning your piano has ever had, or your money back. That is the promise on every appointment.
